Kiwanis is a 107-year-old service organization, with clubs for all ages in over 80 countries. Our purpose is to bring people together to improve the world, one community and one child at a time, starting in our very own neighborhoods and expanding globally.
We try to address any community needs we find by doing collections of baby items, clothing, bedding, housewares, books, toys, and food. For the last 25+ years, our annual Adopt-a-Turkey event has provided food and grocery gift cards for 80+ families each year.
There's more to Kiwanis than just volunteering. It's also a great way to get to know your city, make new friends, find business connections, and get your whole family involved in an activity together. When you do good, you feel good, and you have a good time!
Our kids are our future! Which is why we support Key Club, a high school service club, aimed at promoting leadership, academics and community. We also fundraise to offer college scholarships to Key Club students in our local high schools.
